One of the most important secondary influences arising by electromagnetic pollution are the changing and the distortion of the natural electromagnetic field. Natural magnetic fields have a huge influence on the organism and on the sleep period. For more than 20 years, the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry (Munich, Germany) showed in a study the importance of the sleep direction in the earth magnetic field. Just sleeping in the geographic north-south-direction led to an improvement of the deep-sleep phases compared to sleeping in east-west-direction. Nowadays it is known, that natural magnetic fields are influencing many body functions like metabolism, hormones, water balance and nerve signals. In natural sciences, with magnetobiology an own field of expertise developed itself. Here, intense research is done since the Sixties.
Mainly in our sleeping- and working places, we need other forms of protection and compensation of these rapidly growing unnatural radiations and the therewith associated distortion and superimposition of the earth magnetic field. A new approach taken from the quantum physics exists in improving sleeping quality by stabilization of the magnetic fields in the sleeping place. This happens by a special carrier substance based on a new intelligent plastic working through humidity and which doesn’t need any electricity. A clinical double blind study, conducted by the “Landesnervenklinik” in Graz, Austria, under the leadership of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Manfred Walzl, has proved the effectiveness.
The study impressively verified the increase of the sleeping quality due to stabilized magnetic fields on the sleeping place by using these special carrier substance. Compared to the control group, the important deep sleep phases we need for body recreation improved by 17.3 %. The REM-sleep, important for concentration and learn-ability, improved by 14.7 %. Due to the study set-up, it was possible to exclude a placebo effect with both studies.
In the meantime, these special carrier substance is a fixed component of the sleep-healthy-concept of SAMINA.
