Most of the time, healthy sleep has the following characteristics in common:
a) A short fall asleep duration (+/- 15 minutes). By the way, a lot of people are convinced that falling asleep immediately is a positive sign for good sleep. Far from it! Most of the time this is due to a chronic sleep debt!
b) No nighttime or too early waking up. Due to this, good sleep efficiency.
c) Sufficient REM- and deep-sleep (delta sleep).
d) Rhythmic flow of the single sleep stages (+/- 90-minutes-rhythm).
e) Few body movements resp. body shiftings during sleep. On top of an insufficient sleeping underlay you are making 70 – 80 big body movements. This considerably reduces sleeping quality and regeneration.
User of the sleep-healthy-concept of SAMINA are better off: maximum 20 – 25 big body shiftings and these with a dynamic support of the freely suspended slat frame.
