The pillow complies with the head of the human being and is responsible for the soft yet supporting transition from the upper body to throat and neck. It is filling the gap between head and cervical spine and also helps to support as well as to stabilize it during sleeping.
The orthopaedical proper pillow is a further very important aspect of the orthopaedical-perfect sleep-healthy-concept (SAMINA). According to the motto “every neck has got its pillow”, the Bioenergetic sleep-healthy-concept® (SAMINA) includes 20 different orthopaedic pillows.
Referring to this, the Swiss back- and sleeping-expert Toni Hochreutener emphasizes: “The orthopaedical proper bearing of the cervical lordosis as well as the prevention from sweating are very important for a sensitive throat and neck. Out of this reason, the used sheep-wool-covers bedding-climatically may be called exemplary. The wide range of choice for different kinds of problems with the cervical spine up to whiplash injury is remarkable. Especially the combination of perfect bearing of the spine in combination with the proper pillow is of high value for the user. Nowadays it is a known fact, that 50 % of the cervical syndromes and neck tensions are a consequence of improper bearing of the lumbar spine.”
Meanwhile, these statements are completely confirmed by many orthopaedists and therapists.
