Sleep biological optimization of bed room
Light is the biggest control factor of day and night and therewith for sleep. It is important to tank enough of sunlight during daytime to keep the inner clock in the rhythm of day and night and thereby in the sleep-wake-rhythm. But, during sleep we need darkness.
Artificial light is also effecting our inner clock. Out of this reason, a sleep biological lighting of the bed room is very advantageous. But it also helps in bathroom and toilet when the light receptors of your eyes neither are confronted with disadvantageous light frequencies with a high share of blue before sleeping nor when you have to go to the toilet during night. Otherwise the risk is high that the production of the important sleeping hormone melatonin gets impaired. In this connection, you should avoid use of energy saving lamps, since their share of blue light is way too high.
