Music offers good possibilities to harmonize again our often disturbed inner rhythm. Here it is about sound vibrations by which our organism can be lead back into inner rhythm. This, too, is the goal of music therapy. Basically, all organic life is an oscillation system.
According to that, every human being is playing his and her own melody, even the organ systems. If you for example convert the brain or heart waves into music you even are able to derive a certain status: a healthy heart sounds, a sick heart is silent or is playing dissonant sounds!
So, if you succeed in getting into accord and resonance with your own melody through the proper sound and tone sequence you may positively influence your inner rhythm and activate healing processes therewith. Scientific researches have shown that certain tone oscillations succeed in stepping in our brain processes. This above all applies to own, intuitive music compositions with different instruments.
The rhythmic chanting of mantras for example causes a harmonization of the own body rhythms. Nowadays it is assumed that the intact nature is playing some kind of collective melody that is connecting with our personal melody, too. Out of this reason, staying in nature is still one of the best outer impulse generators. Natural sounds like the sound of the sea or singing birds have a calming, relaxing effect, too.
