Avoid sleeping pills
These studies (see #2) include other important information. For example, why sleeping pills and sedatives may do more harm than good. Especially, when taken for a longer period. Because, researchers assume, that some of these drugs disturb or even completely impede the prescribed “re-calibration of the brain”. This might be because the brain “is not able to forget” and also might explain why a long-term use of sleeping pills might promote dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Indoor toxins and pollutants
Increasingly, our brain is additionally stressed by chemicals in our environment and nutrition. Currently, there are 100,000 industrial chemicals known in the EU of which 15,000 are said to be harmful to health. These chemicals don’t stop in our working-, living- and sleeping-environment.
