The cold and dark time of the year moves closer in large steps. How nice it is now, to cuddle in the bed underneath a warm blanket and fall asleep relaxed, pleasantly warmed. But, underneath the inappropriate blanket you soon will start sweating –- you are going to uncover yourself again. Not long, and you will be cold again and you are going to cover yourself — an alternating sequence of covering/uncovering starts. Like that, it is impossible to have a recreational sleep. Possible side effects of the game: a cold and/or rheumatism. A cover filled with a humidity-absorbing material prevents scenarios like this.
During the first half of the night our body temperature declines by 1,5 degrees Celsius, the closer the morning gets and the more intensified the REM-sleep phases therefore are, the body temperature and sweat production rise again. A body temperature regulating cover is desirable. Bio-active, chemically untreated sheep wool not only meets these two requirements, it can do a lot more: organic sheep wool is odour-binding, self-cleaning, breathable, increases circulation and muscle relaxing. It even neutralizes bacteria and toxins in and around the bed. Due to its attributes, bio-active sheep wool cares for a pleasant, dry-warm bedding climate. Especially important for allergy sufferers, too: dust mites need a moist-warm milieu to optimally develop, the dry-warm climate deprives them from their basis of existence.
Without exception, all SAMINA beddings –- beginning with the overlays to the pillows up to the covers –- are filled with bio-active sheep wool. Depending on function and need complemented with further natural materials like for example the orthopaedic pillows with natural rubber, pine, millet and so on.
A real dreamlike component of the SAMINA sleep-healthy-concept!
