No matter whether you make decisions easily or not: The findings of neuroscientists of the “Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos Aires” might be helpful. In a study, study director Maria Juliana Leone and her team found out that the time of decision making is decisive for the result.
The playing behavior of the 100 participants in online-chess-games has been evaluated. Each participant had to decide on about 40 moves. It became obvious that as well chronobiologic larks as owls made their decisions in the morning with more caution than in the evening. The longer the day the riskier the chosen moves were, the faster and less concentrated the decisions were made. Possible reason is the during the day growing sleep pressure that supports falling asleep at night.
Definitely a clear indication of the importance of restful sleep in our lives.
